In a strategic initiative to attract high-spending international tourists, Ho Chi Minh City's Department of Tourism has partnered with Vietnam Airlines to launch a tourism promotion program in Copenh ague, Denmark. This event took place on November 19, 2025, and included the highly anticipated announcement of direct flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City to the Danish capital.

This new air route, which will commence on December 15, 2025, marks a significant milestone in Vietnam's air travel connectivity with Northern Europe. Vietnam Airlines will operate the route using state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, ensuring a comfortable and efficient travel experience. Flights will be scheduled three times a week, providing travelers with a convenient option to visit Vietnam.
