The General Incorporated Association for Local Government Digital Transformation (GDX), based in Minato City, Tokyo, is excited to announce the recruitment of new office members to support our expanding operations aimed at solving regional issues through digital transformation. Established in May 2023, GDX has quickly grown into a vital platform connecting local government personnel with private enterprises, boasting over 200 member organizations.

Background of the Recruitment

GDX is committed to its mission of promoting cooperation between local governments and businesses to extend the wave of digital transformation (DX) across entire communities. With increasing regional challenges such as a declining birthrate and an aging population, there has become a greater urgency for local governments to enhance disaster prevention and accelerate their internal digital transformation efforts. To expedite solutions to these pressing issues through public-private collaboration, we are now actively seeking new core members for our office.

Job Postings and Main Duties

Positions Available:

• - GDX Office Member / Local Government DX Coordinator / Public-Private Partnership Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• - Hearing and Proposal Activities: Conduct interviews with responsible personnel across national local governments to identify challenges related to DX, hometown tax initiatives, tourism, disaster management, and operational efficiency, collaboratively developing solutions.
