Cornview Development Secures Financing for Solar Projects in Illinois

The Illinois portfolio of Cornview spans various stages of development, ranging from the initial approval stages to late-stage construction and eventual commercial operation. This effort encompasses projects across all regions and investor-owned utility footprints in Illinois. As a testament to their commitment to community and infrastructure, Cornview has invested over $50 million in public utility interconnection upgrades, benefiting both local utility companies and enhancing energy delivery systems.

Furthermore, the completed solar facilities are projected to generate approximately $500,000 annually in real estate taxes, which will benefit local communities, educational institutions, and roadway districts across numerous counties. Once operational, these projects are expected to provide enough renewable energy to power nearly 45,000 residents in Illinois, highlighting Cornview's significant contribution to the state's energy landscape.
