BE OPEN Regional Art Supports Emerging Artists in Central Europe for 2026

BE OPEN Regional Art 2026: Empowering Emerging Artists in Central Europe

The online gallery BE OPEN Art, founded by humanitarian entrepreneur Elena Baturina, is thrilled to announce the continuation of its initiative, BE OPEN Regional Art, as it steps into its second region for the year 2026. This initiative, now in its fourth year, focuses on supporting emerging artists from Central Europe, providing them a platform to showcase their unique cultural and ethnic identities through art.

The BE OPEN Art team, comprising art experts, is dedicated to selecting artists who best represent the artistic traditions of their respective regions. Each month, 20 new rising artists are featured in the online gallery, where public voting plays a crucial role in determining the Regional Artist of the Month. In a bid to further motivate participants, a final winner will be declared after each regional phase, receiving a cash prize of €500, alongside an additional €300 awarded to the founder's favorite artist.

From May to August 2026, the spotlight will be on artists from Central European countries including the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Baturina emphasizes that these regional competitions aim to uplift more young talents, hoping that the financial support will aid in their pursuit of successful art careers.

The competition not only runs parallel to BE OPEN Art's regular operations but also seeks to contribute significantly to society by encouraging artists to address social issues through their works. This includes selecting artists at early stages of their careers who emphasize social awareness and imaginative solutions to contemporary problems.

Furthermore, BE OPEN Art invites all art lovers and supporters to contribute to this vibrant initiative. The collaborative essence of the project fosters connection and unity within the artistic community, and aims to discover and elevate influential new voices in the art scene.

BE OPEN: A Global Initiative for Creativity and Innovation
BE OPEN is recognized globally as a pioneering initiative that encourages creativity and innovation, supporting contemporary thinkers and creators in shaping solutions for a better tomorrow. Founded and supported by Baturina, this cultural and social movement propels not just individual artists but also addresses broader societal issues through art.

The initiative's commitment extends beyond mere financial support; it seeks to facilitate connections, promote visibility, and nurture the potential of emerging artists—all while celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of Central Europe. As the initiative moves forward into 2026, anticipation builds around the platform's ability to uplift and recognize the brilliance of artistic talents in the region. Through its structured approach and community involvement, BE OPEN Art serves as a beacon of hope for many aspiring artists looking to make an indelible mark on the contemporary art landscape.

As we embark on this journey in 2026, the importance of collaboration, creativity, and cultural representation will be more crucial than ever, setting the stage for a vibrant artistic future in Central Europe. Stay tuned for updates and discover the extraordinary talents that will grace the BE OPEN Art Gallery this year!
