ECOVACS Unveils DEEBOT X8

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, held from January 7 to January 10 in Las Vegas, ECOVACS showcased its innovative DEEBOT X8 vacuum robot family, a significant leap in robotics featuring the cutting-edge OZMO ROLLER technology for instant self-cleaning. This groundbreaking introduction marks a pivotal moment in the industry, setting new standards for efficiency and performance in home cleaning solutions.

As a leader in service robotics, ECOVACS continues to push the envelope with its unwavering commitment to technological advancement. The company's deputy chairman, David Cheng Qian, reiterated this commitment, highlighting their dedication to pioneering robotic solutions that anticipate and meet evolving consumer needs. With the goal of advancing robotics, ECOVACS strives to continuously refine its offerings, delivering unparalleled value to users worldwide.

The DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI epitomizes this progress, equipped with OZMO ROLLER mopping technology that allows it to match the cleaning prowess of professional equipment. This innovative design assures high pressure and speed combined with a real-time self-cleaning system, ensuring consistent performance while significantly minimizing mess during the mopping process.

Since its launch in China in September 2024, the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI has transformed the premium vacuum robot segment, achieving an impressive online market share of 68% during the Chinese Double 11 shopping festival. With a global launch on the horizon, this model is poised to replicate its success internationally, revolutionizing cleaning practices across homes.

In addition to the DEEBOT X8 family, ECOVACS introduced the DEEBOT T50 family, centered around the T50 MAX model, which incorporates the innovative BLAST (Boosted Large-Airflow Suction Technology). This technology redefines cleaning efficacy, combining maximum airflow with sufficient suction to achieve an impressive extraction rate for large particulates, making it ideal for households with expansive carpeted areas.

The T50 PRO OMNI, known for its ultra-slim design, facilitates access to tight spaces like beneath sofas and beds. Other new entries included the X5 HYBRID, further diversifying ECOVACS's lineup.

Moreover, the GOAT AO series, which has gained immense popularity since its 2022 inception, was showcased as a game-changer in intelligent lawn care. With 40,000 units sold in 2024 alone, the new GOAT family presents tailored solutions for lawns of all sizes and complexities.

The GOAT A family, featuring models such as the A3000 LiDAR and A2500 RTK (known as A1600 RTK in Europe), is designed for medium to large yards, ensuring superior cutting performance fueled by a leading 32-volt system that triples mowing efficiency.

Meanwhile, the GOAT O family, including the O1000 RTK (renamed O800 RTK in Europe), offers efficient mowing solutions for smaller or more complex garden layouts, boasting unmatched maneuverability and advanced LELS navigation technology.

At CES 2025, ECOVACS did not stop with just the DEEBOT and GOAT lines. They also presented the WINBOT series, which exemplifies the brand's commitment to practical and efficient window cleaning solutions. This exhibition underscores ECOVACS's drive to redefine traditional models through technological innovation.

Celebrating 27 years of leadership in service robotics, ECOVACS remains at the forefront of innovation, leveraging in-house supply chains and advanced manufacturing capabilities to drive breakthroughs in core robotic technologies. Their mission, ‘Robotics for Everyone,’ has enabled ECOVACS products to reach over 170 major markets, serving more than 28 million families globally.

In financial reports, ECOVACS has significantly increased its R&D investments, soaring from 549 million Yuan in 2021 to 825 million Yuan in 2023, reflecting an average annual growth rate of 22.55% during that period. Research and development spending reached 657 million Yuan in the first three quarters of 2024, and by mid-2024, ECOVACS amassed 2,242 patents, including 661 invention patents, with 132 from international sources.
