A Project to Showcase the Hidden Gems of Minami-Yamanashi

The ‘Yamayaki and Outdoor Play’ event forms part of a broader initiative to unveil the hidden charms of the Minami-Yamanashi area, which has been entrusted to Beam Creative by Yamanashi Prefecture since 2024. This project collaborates with five cities within the Kyōnan region to highlight local attractions and unique products, aiming to entice more visitors to this beautiful area.

At the Fuji River Station, the project has established a dedicated corner known as ‘Minami Yamanashi Information,’ where visitors can find selected local specialties and tourist information. Moreover, in March 2025, a special website was launched to delve into the appealing people, places, and products of Minami-Yamanashi.

As this exciting second phase of the project unfolds, participants can look forward to directly experiencing the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region through hands-on activities, with a focus on boosting appreciation for Minami-Yamanashi and its offerings.
