Maybelline New York Launches "Together We're Brave" Campaign for Mental Health Awareness

Maybelline New York Unveils Its "Together We're Brave" Initiative

In anticipation of World Health Day on October 10, Maybelline New York launched the "Together We're Brave" campaign, the latest chapter in its ongoing commitment to mental health support through the "Brave Together" initiative. This global program has already provided over four million individuals with access to free personalized assistance, highlighting resilient bonds that help people cope with anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.

The "Together We're Brave" campaign aims to strengthen support networks and equip individuals with the awareness and encouragement needed to be present for their loved ones facing mental health issues. It showcases authentic, touching stories involving mothers and daughters, best friends, and other meaningful relationships, illustrating the pivotal role these connections play while also motivating individuals to seek support for themselves or someone they care about.

"We at Maybelline New York recognize that the journey to mental well-being is rarely undertaken alone," said Sandrine Jolly, Global Brand President of Maybelline New York. "With 'Together We're Brave,' we expand the dialogue around mental health, honoring those who stand by us during our most challenging times. By sharing these stories, we hope to foster open discussions and remind individuals that seeking help is brave—whether for themselves or for a loved one."

Since its launch in 2020, "Brave Together" has formed partnerships with more than 45 nonprofit organizations across 37 countries, investing nearly $10 million into mental health initiatives worldwide. Through the "Together We're Brave" campaign, Maybelline New York continues its commitment to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and guiding more individuals to the support they need.

As part of this ongoing commitment, Maybelline New York will collaborate with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to enhance mental health awareness, improve access to resources, and cultivate dialogue surrounding mental health issues in the United States. "Often, when someone dear to us is struggling, we might not know what to say—it's essential just to be there," mentioned Dr. Christine Crawford, Chief Medical Officer at NAMI. "Listening without judgment, maintaining connection, and helping someone find support can truly make a difference. Through our partnership with Maybelline New York and Brave Together, we want to remind people that you don’t need all the answers to be there for a loved one."
