Celebrating Street Art: JAPAN WALLS 2025 and 10th Anniversary Exhibition

JAPAN WALLS 2025: A Celebration of Street Art

The XLARGE sponsored event, JAPAN WALLS 2025, celebrating a decade of street art, took place from October 27 to November 2, 2025, in Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture. This year marks a significant milestone, with the 10th anniversary of JAPAN WALLS, the 25th anniversary of the sister beach partnership between Waikiki Beach and Shirarahama, and the 5th anniversary of the event being hosted in Shirahama.

As part of the festivities, XLARGE partnered with renowned artist DRAGON76 for a unique collaboration, producing special items to commemorate the occasion. This included practical and stylish equipment designed for artists, such as vests and jackets with pockets for spray cans, and event-themed T-shirts, all aimed at supporting mural creation.

The event featured talented artists from around the globe, including ASOTA, ÄURA, CAB, DINA SADDI, ERI2WIN, JACK SOREN, KAC, SUGAR, and TEMSA7 from Doha Walls, among many others. The highlight of the week was a celebration of creativity, connection, and street art culture that thrilled attendees and participants alike.

JAPAN WALLS 10TH ANNIVERSARY 'RETROSPECTIVE' Exhibition

Following the successful JAPAN WALLS 2025 event, a commemorative group exhibition will take place at the calif art gallery from November 8 to November 17, celebrating the 10-year journey of JAPAN WALLS with the unveiling of a photo book titled "JAPAN WALLS -10YRS OF MURALS-". This retrospective will highlight the process of creating the photographic collection, along with an exclusive showcase of rare archival artworks from the participating artists.

The exhibition will also feature a sale of merchandise, including the XLARGE × DRAGON76 × JAPAN WALLS collaboration items. Guests will have a unique opportunity to look back on a decade of creativity and connections within the street art scene. We encourage everyone to come and celebrate with us!
