Discovering Regional Charms Through Art: POLA's New Initiative in 2026
In January 2026, POLA Co., Ltd., based in Shinagawa, Tokyo, will kick off an innovative art project aimed at showcasing the unique charms of various regions across Japan in collaboration with local lodging facilities. This strategic initiative aligns with POLA's long-standing commitment to co-creating vibrant business models that enrich local areas and contribute to the growth of the hospitality industry.
POLA has a rich history of working hand-in-hand with communities, particularly through its BtoB business which focuses on hotel amenities. With this history, the company has nurtured a desire to enhance the vibrancy of the areas surrounding these facilities. The new project, aptly named the "Discover Regional Charms Art Project," will partner with various lodging establishments to connect local artists with guests, fostering creativity and artistic appreciation.
The project aims to build connections not only between the facilities and travelers but also to the broader community, encouraging a rediscovery of each region's unique allure. The first phase will take place in the Noto region, an area still recovering from the impacts of past natural disasters on its tourism sector.
POLA TRAVEL LETTER Overview
As part of the engagement, visitors staying at participating facilities during the project period will receive a POLA TRAVEL LETTER. Guests are encouraged to purchase stamps and share their travel memories with friends and family by sending these personalized letters via post.
