PARK will host a special jazz live event titled "大きなお皿でJAZZ！(Big Plate Jazz!)" from the innovative company, A&B Holdings. This event promises to be a delightful experience, connecting the audience through the improvisational talents of jazz singer Chie Nishimura and pianist Yuya Wakai, performing as the unit Pure Imagination.

Event Highlights

PLAY! PARK is known for creating an environment where newborns to adults can enjoy music without constraints. The atmosphere at this venue is relaxed, allowing families to engage with the music in a manner that suits them best: from dancing and cheering to simply lying back and absorbing the tunes.

The unique set-up encourages impromptu performances inspired by the audience, making every moment a new experience. The central feature of the venue, called the “Big Plate,” is a plush, oval space where attendees can view performances from all angles, enhancing the interactive experience. Additionally, a large play structure made from bubble wrap, titled "Let’s! PLAY! PUTIPUTI!", awaits kids to explore and enjoy, all while providing an engaging backdrop for the live jazz.

About Pure Imagination

Pure Imagination is set to take the stage for the first time at PLAY! PARK, promising to surprise everyone with their spontaneous jazz melodies. The event will run two sets: the first from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

Guest Profile: Chie Nishimura (Jazz Singer)

Chie Nishimura hails from Kagoshima and started her musical journey in elementary school playing the trumpet. She fell in love with jazz during her middle school years, inspired by the legendary Louis Armstrong. After much dedication, Nishimura has established a significant career in music, forming the company en records in 2017 and engaging in social welfare through music, especially for children with disabilities. Her initiative to create a jazz club for individuals with severe disabilities has received recognition from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, further illustrating her commitment to music education and outreach.

Born in Nagoya, Yuya Wakai began his musical journey at the age of three and has mastered jazz piano through self-study and formal training at concerts and competitions. He remains actively involved in both performance and music education.
