NIJIN Academy's Upcoming Online Career Counseling Event

NIJIN Academy, an alternative school located in Koto, Tokyo, announces its participation in the ongoing effort to support students who may not fit the traditional educational mold. On June 19, 2025, they will be hosting an online career counseling event as part of their "Steps Toward the Future" series. This initiative is designed for elementary and middle school students who are contemplating their educational futures, as well as for their parents.

Purpose of the Event

With the launch of a new career support program in May 2025, NIJIN Academy is committed to promoting diverse educational pathways. This event will showcase insights from teachers of correspondence high schools, who will be invited to the academy's metaverse campus to share detailed information about their institutions' unique characteristics, curriculums, and support systems. The aim is to equip attendees with a clearer understanding of the educational options that exist for students who cannot attend traditional schools.

In addition to presentations from educators, the event will also include a roundtable discussion for parents. This setting aims to create a safe space for parents to express their concerns, share their thoughts, and support one another as they navigate the challenges of raising children who are not attending traditional schools.
