Jewish National Fund-USA to Livestream 9/11 Ceremony

On September 11, 2025, Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF-USA) will host a significant event that underscores national remembrance and unity. The 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony, scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. EDT (8 a.m. PDT), will be streamed live from the solemn grounds of the 9/11 Living Memorial in Jerusalem.

This poignant ceremony aims to connect tens of thousands of viewers across America through JNF-USA’s popular social media platforms including Facebook and YouTube. The event will serve as a tribute to the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost during the tragic events of 2001, along with honoring the bravery of the first responders who risked everything to help.

Ceremony Highlights

The commemoration will bring together a range of dignitaries and community members, including: U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee Victims' families First responders American students visiting Israel * Other community leaders

During the ceremony, there will be several meaningful segments, such as the Presentation of the Colors by the United States Marines and remarks from notable figures including the JNF-USA President Deb Lust Zaluda, KKL-JNF Chairwoman Ifat Ovadia-Luski, and NYPD Chief of Intelligence and Counterterrorism Thomas Galati.

In addition to speeches, attendees can look forward to a heartfelt performance by the Special in Uniform Band—a JNF-USA initiative supporting youth with disabilities. A Bond Beyond Borders

In her address, Deb Lust Zaluda stressed the importance of the day: “As we mark the 24th anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history, we honor the memory of the fallen and the heroism of those who sacrificed their lives. The devastation of 9/11 resonates deeply with the tragedies faced on October 7, reminding us of the innocent lives lost simply because they lived.

This ceremony not only commemorates history but is a testament to the enduring bond the United States shares with Israel—built on the foundations of freedom, resilience, and democracy.”

The 9/11 Living Memorial in Jerusalem, established in collaboration with KKL-JNF, stands uniquely outside the U.S. as the only site honoring the names of all victims from that fateful day. It is a striking symbol of our collective responsibility to confront hatred and prevent future atrocities.

Zaluda added, “For the families affected, for the first responders who answered the call, and for every American impacted by that day, the memorial serves as a sacred place for healing. It symbolizes the indomitable human spirit and the unbreakable ties between America and Israel.”
