Nichimo Co., Ltd., located in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce their participation in the upcoming "Marine Research Festival 2025," organized by the non-profit Green Bird and held at WITH HARAJUKU on July 26-27. Following a successful event last year, this festival aims to engage children in learning about ocean environmental issues and ecosystems through enjoyable activities.
During this exciting festival, Nichimo will set up a workshop and exhibit that highlights essential themes surrounding marine conservation. One of the key attractions will be a hands-on experience for children to create bags using biodegradable fishing nets, demonstrating innovative solutions to reducing plastic waste in our oceans.
Moreover, participants will have the chance to create fun fish-shaped straps made from discarded fishing nets and wood fibers, further underscoring the festival's commitment to addressing marine debris issues. By involving children in these creative projects, Nichimo hopes to inspire them to understand and appreciate the importance of preserving our seas.
