ELITE Solar's New Manufacturing Plant in Egypt

On January 25, 2026, ELITE Solar, a leader in integrated solar energy production, announced the opening of a state-of-the-art photovoltaic manufacturing facility in the Suez Economic Zone in Egypt. This new plant has a substantial capacity of 5 gigawatts (GW), comprising 2 GW of high-efficiency solar cells and 3 GW dedicated to solar module production.

The inauguration of the facility was graced by Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, underscoring its importance for Egypt's renewable energy goals and industrial development. This factory not only helps in local workforce development but also positions the region as a significant player in the global clean energy supply chain.

ELITE Solar welcomed regional clients and strategic partners to the site on January 23, allowing them to tour the production lines of N-type solar cells and modules.
