The Pepa service will be officially available starting May 14, 2026, with applications opening to residents in regions served by Tokyo Electric Power Company. To participate, customers will need to have an existing contract with Updater's general energy service. Registration can be completed through a straightforward process on their website.

An online seminar scheduled for May 21, 2026, will provide further insights into the service, available at no cost to participants.
