Air Canada Expands Luxury Bus Service in Partnership with Landline

Air Canada has announced a significant enhancement to its travel services by renewing and expanding its partnership with Landline, a luxury bus service provider. The agreement, effective March 12, 2026, will enable the connection of three new regions in Ontario—Niagara, Sarnia, and Muskoka—directly to Toronto Pearson International Airport, starting June 15, 2026. This initiative aims to make travel more convenient for both residents and visitors.

As part of the new offerings, Air Canada will not only introduce these new connections but will also increase the frequency of existing bus services connecting Kingston and Kitchener-Waterloo areas to the airport. Landline is set to operate 26 daily trips connecting Toronto Pearson to six regions across Ontario this summer, thus enhancing regional accessibility and strengthening Air Canada’s global network.

Ramveer Singh, the Director of Regional Airlines & Market for Air Canada, expressed his excitement over the success of Landline's luxury service, emphasizing its appeal to customers. “The intermodal transportation option combines the efficiency of flights with high-quality bus service, extending our network's reach while providing seamless connections for travelers,” Singh said. He is optimistic that adding Niagara, Sarnia, and Muskoka will boost regional convenience and promote tourism and business travel that significantly contributes to the local economy.

Nick Johnson, Vice President of Landline, echoed the sentiment, stating, “We are proud to expand our relationship with Air Canada. With the ease of booking short-haul connections to destinations like Niagara, Muskoka, and Sarnia, travelers can enjoy seamless itinerary management, loyalty points, and an assurance of coverage throughout their journeys.”

The Ontario Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, Stan Cho, noted that the expanded service would improve access to popular destinations within Ontario, strengthening inter-regional connectivity. “This enhancement opens doors for more people to enjoy Ontario's world-class tourism experiences,” he said.

A Seamless Travel Experience

Passengers flying with Air Canada from these regions will have a hassle-free travel experience. They can check-in normally at the regional airports, receive boarding passes for their entire journey, and have their luggage tagged directly to their final destination. Upon arrival at Toronto Pearson, travelers can proceed through the baggage claim area and security checkpoint to board their connecting flights.

The buses operated under the Air Canada brand by Landline utilize vehicles designed and manufactured by Prevost in Quebec. These vehicles are equipped with spacious leather seats, free Wi-Fi, power outlets, and are mobility-supportive, offering a premium travel experience. Landline will provide multiple daily non-stop services between regional airports and Toronto Pearson, ensuring convenience similar to Air Canada flights. In the event of delays for either the bus or flight segments, travelers will receive the same level of protection for their itineraries.

Aeroplan members can earn points on both ground and air segments, further enhancing the value of their travel. In Niagara Falls, the service extends from Niagara District Airport, allowing passengers to drop off at the “Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls,” situated close to the iconic waterfalls, making it easier for travelers to connect to one of Canada’s top tourist destinations directly from Air Canada’s global network.

New Landline services connecting Toronto Pearson Airport with Niagara, Sarnia, and Muskoka will commence operations on June 15, 2026. Customers who have already booked flights with Air Canada to and from Toronto Pearson can contact the call center by April 30 to integrate the Landline segment into their itinerary at no additional charge.

Additionally, services to Kingston will commence on May 1, 2026, while those to Kitchener will begin concurrently with the new bus routes on June 15. Here’s a brief overview of the Landline operational schedule for Summer 2026:
