Linglong Tire Winter Experience 2026 in Austria

In early February, the Linglong Winter Tire Experience 2026 was held for the first time in Austria, attracting nearly 40 tire vendors from across Europe. The event took place against the stunning backdrop of the Salzburg mountains at the picturesque Stegergut winter driving park, located 1,030 meters above sea level. This location provided ideal conditions for effective winter driving training, including various challenging handling courses, expansive dynamic zones, and circular tracks.

Participants had the chance to drive more than 120 kilometers under the supervision of experienced instructors in training vehicles like the Toyota GR Yaris and GR Supra. Staying true to the motto "one more drift," the selection of vehicles largely hinged on their drifting capabilities. Therefore, the agenda not only included enhancing overall driving skills but also centered on mastering controlled drifting around the varied tracks. This offered each participant the opportunity to indulge their passion for sport driving, pushing their vehicle’s limits and experiencing it firsthand on the different circuits.

All vehicles used during the event were fitted with the latest Linglong Sport Master Winter tire in the size of 225/40 R18 92W. Notably, this is the first Linglong tire developed in Germany and exclusively produced in Europe. Last fall, this tire model received a commendable "good" test rating from the German automotive magazine Auto Motor und Sport.

Besides the dynamic driving exercises, the event also featured a workshop where attendees were introduced to Linglong's latest products and upcoming marketing campaigns. To enhance the winter experience, participants enjoyed a scenic horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snowy mountain landscape, concluding with a hearty snack at a rustic mountain lodge.
