Introduction to KEL Corporation
KEL Corporation, based in Tama City, Tokyo, has made a significant innovation in the industrial equipment sector with the introduction of the FG Series, a new high-current battery connector. This series is specifically designed for connecting batteries to high-power devices, offering reliability and durability in various demanding environments.
Overview of the FG Series Connectors
The FG series connectors consist of a plug and receptacle system that ensures a strong and reliable connection. Here are some key features:
- - Contact Reliability: The connector incorporates a two-point contact for signal terminals and an eight-point contact for power terminals, ensuring high connection reliability.
- - Power Handling: Each power terminal can accommodate currents ranging from 40A to 50A, making it suitable for various heavy-duty applications.
- - Connector Poles: The design has two poles for power and six for signal connections, allowing for versatile uses across different equipment setups.
- - Guidance Mechanism: It features a guidance mechanism that allows ±3.5mm in the X direction and ±2.8mm in the Y direction to ensure proper alignment during connection.
- - Flexibility: The plug side connector has a movable screw section that allows for maximum absorption of up to ±0.7mm in both the X and Y directions, catering to minor misalignments during installation.
