Previously, she served as Chief Counsel at the U.S. Department of Energy's Loan Programs Office, a role in which she supervised legal counsel for over $100 billion in energy investments. Her unique expertise in clean energy financing and regulatory compliance positions her perfectly to steer BlueWave’s legal affairs as the company continues to expand its solar portfolio and storage operations.
During her tenure at the Department of Energy, Ms. Limmer led a talented team of attorneys responsible for guiding complex transactions across various clean energy sectors, including solar and battery storage technologies. Her previous experiences include prestigious roles at Winston Strawn LLP, Norton Rose Fulbright LLP, and in-house positions at First Solar, Inc. With this breadth of experience, Ms. Limmer is well-prepared to navigate the intricate legal environment associated with energy projects.
