Launch of New Outpatient Data Assist Service

Koga Software, located in Taito, Tokyo and headed by CEO Shoji Koga, has officially launched its new healthcare service, the Outpatient Data Assist, as part of the Life Care Compass suite. This service aims to provide comprehensive support for the outpatient data submission fee, particularly focusing on lifestyle disease management, and was announced during its official unveiling on March 1st after a trial run at select clinics.

Service Overview

The newly introduced Outpatient Data Assist is designed to streamline the workflow for collecting and submitting data related to the outpatient data submission bounty, which currently awards medical facilities with 50 points per patient suffering from lifestyle diseases. However, due to the complexity of the system and the challenging nature of data preparation, only about 3.6% of medical institutions successfully navigate this process (as of June 2023, as reported by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare).
