In a significant move toward advancing the satellite data business in Vietnam, Space Shift, Inc., based in Tokyo, has partnered with VegaCosmos Co., Ltd., a geospatial technology firm under the Vegastar Group in Vietnam. This strategic collaboration aims to harness satellite data for developing geospatial applications and innovative technological solutions.

Bridging Technology with Local Needs

Both companies will leverage Space Shift's satellite data analysis AI to provide data analytics services through VegaCosmos's GEOHUB platform. This initiative addresses critical needs in Vietnam and its surrounding regions, focusing on environmental monitoring, urban planning, disaster risk reduction, and smart agriculture.

GEOHUB is an open and modular data platform offering satellite tools and APIs. It delivers advanced remote sensing products and services to users across Vietnam. VegaCosmos serves as a co-creation partner in Space Shift's satellite data initiative, SateBiz, enhancing collaboration by utilizing the SateBiz community to verify and implement the partnership's offerings first for clients in Vietnam and Japan.

During the signing ceremony, Nguyen Ngoc Quang, Deputy Director of VegaCosmos, presented a commemorative gift to Space Shift's Chief Business Officer, Tada, marking the partnership's significance.
