Voice Actor Talk Event: "Seiyu Den - A Box of Voice Jewels"

On May 15, 2025, the renowned talk event titled "Seiyu Den - A Box of Voice Jewels" will take place in Kokyokan Hall located in Minato-ku, Tokyo. This extraordinary gathering will feature voice acting legends from the 80s and 90s, who will share their experiences in the industry during a nostalgic journey through time.

The first session at 2:00 PM will feature Matoi Hasama, Hiroko Suzuki, Toshiko Sawada, and sound director Toshio Sato, all sharing insights related to western films. Meanwhile, the 6:00 PM session will spotlight Mari Shimizu, Masako Nozawa, and sound director Masashi Tsukoi, who will discuss the vibrant world of anime voice acting. Both sessions will be hosted by Michiko Nomura, the beloved voice of Wakame from Sazae-san and Shizuka from Doraemon.

As a special treat, the event will also showcase performances by fresh talent. A reading will feature several up-and-coming voice actors, including Azusa Aoi (from Princess Orchestrator), Seitaro Taniguchi (from The Devil is Everywhere), Ryoko Natsumi (from Wheel of Time), and Yasushi Marunaka (from Step Up: Year of the Dance).

Additionally, the celebrated classical crossover artist ILBUONO will present a number of songs related to the participating voice actors.
