SANY Renewable Energy has unveiled its remarkable growth in international markets, announcing a staggering increase in foreign revenue exceeding 300% during the first half of 2026, as presented at WindEnergy Hamburg 2026. The theme for the event was "A Partner You Can Build On," a testament to SANY's commitment to innovation and reliability in the renewable energy sector.

The company showcased its extensive capabilities within the wind energy landscape, with signed international contracts totaling nearly 5 GW. This surge in growth has been significantly supported by the recent receipt of a certification from DNV for the SI-17578EU wind turbine, which not only confirms the turbine’s structural integrity but also highlights its operational safety, worker ergonomics, and maintenance strategies. This certification underpins SANY's growth strategy aimed at enhancing its market presence in Europe.

Innovative Wind Turbine Solutions

During the event, SANY displayed a cross-section model of its 10-MW gondola, demonstrating the structural design features of the SI-17578EU, which integrates applications of carbon fiber rotor blades, and an AI-based model for rotor blade spacing calculations. Additionally, the company featured its 35-MW turbine testing stand, equipped with six degrees of freedom, designed to validate product performance under various wind, climate, and grid conditions.

SANY's involvement in industry discussions was marked by Guo Xiaoming, the Deputy Dean of SANY’s Renewable Energy Wind Turbine Research Institute, who participated in a panel hosted by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC). This panel discussed essential topics like grid connection, grid resilience, and the applications of AI in the energy sector. SANY was recognized as one of the top-tier wind turbine suppliers in 2026 by SP Global, ranking in the top 1% based on its Corporate Sustainability Assessment.

Global Project Development and Expansion

The installed capacity of SANY's renewable energy solutions abroad has reached 1,462.35 MW, with projects spanning Europe, Latin America, Central Asia, and South Asia. These projects comply with engineering standards set by China, IEC, and Europe, ensuring quality and reliability.

Recent milestones include the grid connection of SANY's first 6.25-MW turbine in Kazakhstan in 2023, the commissioning of a project cluster exceeding 100 MW in 2026, and the first repowering project involving an 8-MW turbine in Central Asia. In Spain, the first phase of the Zuera Self-Consumption Project has successfully been completed without any disruptions, showcasing SANY's robust execution capabilities.
