On July 15, 2025, GAC officially sealed a joint venture agreement with Jameel Motors, one of the top dealership groups globally, located in London, UK. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in GAC's ongoing expansion into the European automotive market.
Under the new partnership, Jameel Motors will act as the distributor for GAC in the UK, taking charge of sales for its innovative new energy vehicles. The two initial models set to make their debut in the UK—AION V, a smart SUV, and AION UT, a premium compact sedan—are designed to meet international standards and equipped with cutting-edge electric technologies alongside advanced manufacturing processes.
The AION V and AION UT emphasize high safety, exceptional quality, and top-of-the-line features, aiming to satisfy the increasing demand among UK consumers for high-quality electric vehicles. These vehicles reflect GAC’s commitment to sustainability and smart mobility, providing eco-friendly options that align with the UK’s push towards cleaner transport solutions.
