GAC Partners with Jameel Motors for UK Market Entry

On July 15, 2025, GAC officially sealed a joint venture agreement with Jameel Motors, one of the top dealership groups globally, located in London, UK. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in GAC's ongoing expansion into the European automotive market.

Under the new partnership, Jameel Motors will act as the distributor for GAC in the UK, taking charge of sales for its innovative new energy vehicles. The two initial models set to make their debut in the UK—AION V, a smart SUV, and AION UT, a premium compact sedan—are designed to meet international standards and equipped with cutting-edge electric technologies alongside advanced manufacturing processes.

The AION V and AION UT emphasize high safety, exceptional quality, and top-of-the-line features, aiming to satisfy the increasing demand among UK consumers for high-quality electric vehicles. These vehicles reflect GAC’s commitment to sustainability and smart mobility, providing eco-friendly options that align with the UK’s push towards cleaner transport solutions.

The signing ceremony, which featured high-ranking officials from both GAC International and Jameel Motors, underscored the importance of this collaboration. Wei Haigang, President of GAC International, expressed that this strategic partnership is pivotal for introducing GAC's new energy vehicles to the UK market, thus facilitating the nation's transition to sustainable mobility solutions.

The engagement with Jameel Motors is a formal entry for GAC into the UK automotive arena, which has witnessed a remarkable growth in the demand for electric vehicles. As this demand continues to soar, GAC plans to gradually expand its model lineup, offering UK customers a diverse range of high-quality, environmentally friendly transportation options.

Earlier this year, in April, GAC also signed a representation agreement with Jameel Motors for entering the Polish market with its new energy products. This latest collaboration is a critical step in GAC's
