Aizawa Corporation’s Commitment to Auto Mirai Hanazouji Amusement Park
Aizawa Corporation, headquartered in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture, has announced the renewal of its naming rights for the Auto Mirai Hanazouji Amusement Park. This extension allows the park to carry its current name from January 1, 2026, until December 31, 2028. The amusement park is popular among local residents and features an array of attractions including a water jet coaster, a carousel, and a 65-meter tall Ferris wheel named "Himawari."
The park is also renowned for its cherry blossoms and azaleas, drawing numerous visitors, especially families, during the spring season. Notably, the "Hanazouji Park Flower Festival" runs from March 20 to May 10, featuring illuminated cherry blossoms at night, which coincides with extended evening hours for the park. Moreover, the "Yozakura Minaito 2026" event will take place from March 27 to April 7, enhancing the festive atmosphere during this vibrant time of year. Aizawa Corporation envisions the park as more than just a leisure destination; it serves as a symbol connecting generations and cultures.
Chairman Masao Aizawa shared his personal connection to the park, recalling how, despite facing language barriers upon arriving in Japan as a child, spending time there with his family helped him find solace. This background inspired the company's acquisition of the naming rights and reflects their commitment to give back to the community by providing a safe environment where everyone can enjoy and create memories. Isesaki City has a significant foreign resident population, boasting 17,320 individuals as of December 2025, the highest in Gunma Prefecture.
To cater to this diverse community, Auto Mirai Hanazouji Amusement Park incorporates multi-lingual signage displaying welcoming messages like "Welcome" and "Thank You." These signs aim to create an atmosphere of hospitality and gratitude, making visitors feel appreciated. The multi-lingual signs serve as more than mere decorations; they facilitate a welcoming environment that fosters interaction among individuals from various backgrounds, reflecting Aizawa Corporation’s commitment to multicultural coexistence.
During the cherry blossom season, the amusement park will become a special destination for residents as well as visitors from outside the city and prefecture, allowing everyone to experience the allure of Isesaki. By renewing the naming rights, Aizawa Corporation demonstrates its dedication to highlighting Isesaki's charm, valuing multicultural coexistence, and fulfilling its responsibilities as a community-rooted business.
In a statement, CEO Masahiko Kimura expressed, "Auto Mirai Hanazouji Amusement Park is a place where language and cultural differences can bring smiles to everyone. With the renewal of our naming rights, we aim to keep this park close to the hearts of local residents and promote Isesaki’s values of multicultural coexistence through our multi-lingual messages of ‘Welcome’ and ‘Thank You.’"
Aizawa Corporation is committed to using the amusement park as a space where many people come together and feel a deeper connection to multicultural integration. As the cherry blossom season approaches, the park will shine as a magnificent locale celebrating both the beauty of nature and the rich diversity of the community.
