Beko Europe Welcomes Akın Garzanlı as New CEO to Lead the Charge

With over two decades of experience at Beko, Garzanlı has demonstrated exceptional capability in brand management and marketing communications. His last role involved leading 22 global and local brands in over 55 countries, highlighting his expertise in navigating complex market environments and creating impactful marketing strategies. In 2023, he expanded his responsibilities to oversee operations in the Middle East, Africa, and CIS regions, further solidifying his position as a key player in Beko's strategic vision.
Garzanlı’s journey at Beko began in 2002 when he took on responsibilities for global markets. Since then, he has climbed the corporate ladder, holding crucial positions in sales, product management, and customer service. Notably, he was appointed the Global Customer Care Director in 2018 and assumed the role of Global Brand Director a couple of years later, a position which he maintained alongside his other duties.
His academic credentials support his extensive professional experience. A graduate of St. George's Austrian High School in Istanbul, Garzanlı holds a bachelor's degree in Management from Istanbul University and an MBA from Koç University. He has also enriched his knowledge through various programs at prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and Kellogg School of Management.
In his new role as CEO of Beko Europe, Garzanlı is set to leverage his background to enhance the company's relationship with consumers and strengthen its brand portfolio.
