The HUAWEI XMAGE Awards 2025 officially launched during the unveiling of the HUAWEI Pura 80 smartphone, aiming to showcase mobile photography on a global scale. Established in 2017, this annual competition provides a platform for creators to share their work, allowing the power of imagery to reach a broader audience. With nearly five million submissions from users across 170 countries, it has become one of the largest and most impactful mobile photography contests in the world.
The XMAGE technology by HUAWEI pushes the boundaries of mobile photography, offering groundbreaking features in telephoto, macro, night mode, shutter speed, portrait, color, and videography. Following the global introduction of the HUAWEI Pura 80 series, this year's awards will feature several categories: 'So Far So Close', 'Good Night', 'Colour Shade', along with familiar favorites such as 'Faces', 'A Heartwarming World', 'Experimental Lab', 'Storyboard', and 'Action'.
