About Yohei Sugita

Born in 1983, Yohei Sugita is a graduate of Musashino Art University. Over his 20-year career, he has explored the materiality of paint, leading to an innovative body of work that continually questions the very form of painting. Sugita has presented over 1,000 works, actively working to integrate art into everyday life through various media, educational activities, and social platforms, encouraging the next generation to engage with art.

The Future of Socks

The collaborative socks displayed and sold during the exhibition will be produced in Japan, specifically at Renfro Japan's GINGA factory. GINGA employs a unique printer capable of producing colorful, eco-friendly socks with minimal waste, representing a new direction for sustainable production in the industry.

As this exciting event approaches, art lovers and those curious about the intersection of fashion and art are encouraged to visit the Roppongi Tsutaya Bookstore. With breathtaking artworks and innovative socks that redefine everyday wear, Sugita's exhibition promises to deliver an unforgettable experience.
