The Tokyo Marathon Foundation has announced the launch of the "Interview Relay 2nd Run" campaign in preparation for the Tokyo Marathon 2026. Starting late December 2025, a special website will be available to accept story submissions from the public. From the stories received, the foundation will select 20 outstanding ones to display on the site. Furthermore, 10 lucky participants will have the chance to win a slot for the Tokyo Marathon 2027, which will mark its 20th edition, courtesy of the official partners of the event.

Hosted by runner Mai Tanahashi, who has participated in previous marathons, the program will air every Thursday from 10:10 to 10:25 AM. Each week, diverse guests related to the Tokyo Marathon will share insights, ensuring listeners are immersed in the marathon's charm leading up to the big day.

The program promises to be an engaging lead-up to the marathon, culminating in a live radio broadcast on the day of the event.
