Seasonal Delights: Cherry Shrimp and Green Soybean Soba Hits the Market

Introducing Seasonal Soba Delights

On March 26, 2026, JR East Cross Station Foods Company will launch two special seasonal soba dishes at all 81 locations of "Irori-an Kiraku" and "Irori-an Kiraku Soba". The dishes included are the "Cherry Shrimp Cold Chirashi Soba" and the "Green Soybean Tempura Soba," both priced at 780 yen (tax included). These flavors will surely herald the arrival of spring!

Cherry Shrimp Cold Chirashi Soba

The visually stunning "Cherry Shrimp Cold Chirashi Soba" is a dish bursting with the fragrance of cherry shrimp. It artfully combines sweet, thin omelet strips (kinshi tamago), the fresh crunch of white hair onions, and the crisp flavor of radish sprouts. Each bite melts together diverse textures and tastes, making for a delightful culinary experience.

The dish also comes with a side of "Kakeru Aosa," a flavorful sea lettuce condiment that elevates the overall richness of the soba. Enjoy a double experience of flavor by adding this seaweed.

Green Soybean Tempura Soba

Next, we have the "Green Soybean Tempura Soba," showcasing seasonal flavors like the cute and tender "Kobashira" (small clams) alongside the unique fragrance and satisfying texture of green soybeans. These ingredients are prepared as crispy tempura, blending beautifully with the rich seafood flavors and refreshing notes of the soybeans in the broth. This colorful dish represents a perfect spring moment that you don’t want to miss!

In some locations, prices might vary, but you can enjoy a 20 yen discount on any item when purchasing with transportation IC cards.
