Unique Summer Experience at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo
This August marks a special opportunity for families to engage in a unique research experience at the renowned Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo in Bunkyo City, Tokyo. Kicking off on August 3rd, which also happens to be Honey Day, the hotel unveils its limited-time stay plan titled "Let's Become Bee Researchers! Summer Research Stay." This unique program will run specifically on three dates: August 3rd, 9th, and 10th, allowing families to immerse themselves in learning about the ecology of honeybees while enjoying hands-on honey harvesting experiences.
A Special Stay Focused on Nature and Learning
The essence of the "Let's Become Bee Researchers! Summer Research Stay" is to create a valuable educational experience perfect for children's summer research projects. This special package offers a tailored stay that showcases the urban beekeeping initiatives practiced by the hotel. Activities include exploring rooftop beehives, utilizing a centrifugal honey extractor, and savoring the hotel's own exclusive honey, aptly named "GARDEN HONEY."
On the day of check-in, guests can participate in a workshop focused on honey harvesting. Expert instructor Kazuo Nakamura from Merosurf Bee Farm will guide families through the fascinating world of honeybees, explaining their ecology, the honey-making process, and the concepts surrounding urban beekeeping. Guests will have the rare opportunity to observe bees in action and learn about the hive's inner workings. Witnessing these delightful creatures up close will surely be a highlight for children, not to mention the excitement of trying freshly harvested honey!
Beyond Honey Harvesting: An Abundance of Honey Delights
This program goes beyond just the honey harvesting experience. During their stay, guests can indulge in breakfast options featuring the hotel's own "GARDEN HONEY" served through room service – a delectable menu that includes choices like bread and pancakes accompanied by honey. Each season brings unique flavors to the honey, and guests will have the chance to compare them during their breakfast, experiencing the rich variations that this natural treat offers.
As a souvenir to remember this special stay, each family will receive a mini set of two jars (25g each) of "GARDEN HONEY," capturing the essence of the different harvesting seasons to take home. Families are encouraged to continue the honey-tasting adventure together once back in their own kitchens!
