Online Seminar on Accelerating Municipal DX

The Sankei Shimbun is organizing an online seminar titled "Accelerating Municipal DX 2025 - In-depth look at Advanced Cases Across the Nation" on May 20, starting at 1 PM (JST). This event is aimed at municipal officials seeking knowledge and insights into driving digital transformation (DX) initiatives.

In this seminar, participants will explore key success factors of municipal DX and strategies for overcoming challenges through advanced case studies. The seminar will incorporate real-life experiences and case studies, allowing attendees to grasp the necessary DX strategies that municipalities across Japan should adopt in the future.

Keynote Speakers

Notable speakers include Mr. Masakatsu Ishikiriyama, Director of the Local Administration Bureau at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, who will provide insights into the latest trends in municipal DX and the government's initiatives to further promote it.

Additionally, Ms. Natsuki Fukami from the Kobe City Planning and Coordination Bureau will present specific examples of work style reforms and DX initiatives implemented in Kobe. Also speaking will be Mr. Kensaku Ienaka from the Tsukuba City Innovation Policy Department, highlighting the city's advanced efforts in utilizing data, positioning it as a leader among municipalities across the country.
