Lemon Association Launches Essential Training Programs for Service Managers in Tokyo and Saitama

Introduction

The Lemon Association, a prominent social welfare organization in Japan, is set to launch foundational and updated training programs for service managers in Tokyo and Saitama starting from the 2024 fiscal year. With a vision to ensure high-quality welfare services, the training aims to cultivate knowledgeable and skilled personnel essential for managing services effectively.

Overview of Training Programs

The “Service Management Training Programs” will cater to both new and existing service managers, focusing on essential knowledge and skills needed in the welfare sector.

1. Foundational Training

Beginning in 2024, the foundational training is specifically designed to equip participants with the necessary skills for engaging in welfare services.
  • - Course A: This includes common lectures (e-learning), specialized lectures (e-learning), submission of pre-assignment tasks, and live exercises. The total fee is ¥42,000.
  • - Course B: This stream consists of specialized lectures (e-learning), submission of pre-assignment tasks, and live exercises, with a fee of ¥36,000. Note that those who hold qualifications from basic support worker training can waive the common lectures.

2. Updated Training

In addition to foundational training, an updated training program has been designed for current service managers and child development support managers, intended to refresh and update their knowledge.
  • - The curriculum includes online exercises and submission of preliminary assignments, with a fee of ¥33,000.

Flexible Learning Environment

One of the standout features of these training programs is their fully online nature. Participants can access lectures and exercises from anywhere in the country, making it easier for those who are juggling work alongside their studies. This access is particularly beneficial for professionals who have varying schedules.

The training also incorporates effective e-learning methodologies, allowing participants to revisit lectures and materials according to their own pace and convenience. This flexibility is crucial for fostering a thorough understanding of the content.

Training Materials Delivered to Participants

To enhance the learning experience, physical training materials will be sent to participants in booklet format. By combining digital and print resources, the program aims to support better comprehension and retention of knowledge.

It's worth noting that individuals outside of Tokyo and Saitama can also enroll in these programs, widening the reach of these essential training offerings.
