Technical Specifications

The KIPTEC-enabled sensors, made in Germany, offer over 12 months of onboard data storage along with event-based transmission and store-and-forward protection to prevent data loss. They can automatically adjust their power consumption based on environmental conditions. Furthermore, the platform supports LTE-Cat-M1/NB-IoT connectivity and allows for over-the-air updates through KISTERS Telemetry, integrating easily with existing systems using protocols such as MQTT, HTTPS, and SFTP.

Security is paramount in KIPTEC’s design, featuring end-to-end encryption and TLS-certified IoT protection that adhere to European standards, ensuring data integrity and privacy.

KIPTEC-enabled sensors, referred to as 'Edge' sensors, provide a competitive advantage in monitoring scenarios requiring autonomous operations, particularly in remote or densely located networks.
