Innoviz Technologies and Vueron Join Forces for Enhanced AI Development in Automotive Applications
Innoviz Technologies Partners with Vueron for AI Development
Innoviz Technologies Ltd., a prominent player in the field of LiDAR technology and a Tier-1 supplier to major automotive manufacturers, has recently entered a strategic partnership with Vueron Technology Co. Ltd. This collaboration is set to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence applications within the automotive industry and smart infrastructure sectors.
The partnership was officially announced on January 7, 2026, and focuses on integrating Innoviz's advanced LiDAR data into Vueron's VueX AI development platform. This integration harnesses the power of cloud technology to automate the data annotation and training process, making it easier for manufacturers and operators to enhance their perception development.
The Role of Integrated LiDAR in AI
Through this partnership, Innoviz has introduced its InnovizTwo and InnovizSMART LiDAR systems into Vueron's ecosystem. The integration aims to streamline the traditionally labor-intensive process of annotating and classifying LiDAR data for machine learning applications. Vueron's VueX platform utilizes state-of-the-art AI techniques to automatically generate bounding boxes and object classifications from LiDAR point clouds, significantly reducing manual effort while maintaining precision needed for safety-critical applications.
Users can upload Innoviz's LiDAR data directly to the cloud-based VueX platform, where it undergoes automated processing, annotation, and fine-tuning to achieve optimal accuracy. This process not only accelerates development timelines but also potentially simplifies the deployment of perception systems in various applications.
Enhanced Collaboration and Enabled Innovation
Building on an established relationship — when Innoviz's first-generation LiDAR, InnovizOne, was successfully integrated into Vueron's autonomous driving platform — this collaboration allows users to leverage the high performance of the InnovizTwo LiDAR for automotive uses and InnovizSMART for smart infrastructure deployments. The combined solution provides an end-to-end cloud-based environment for data storage, visualization, processing, training, validation, and ultimately deployment of AI technologies.
Omer Keilaf, CEO and Co-Founder of Innoviz, emphasized the importance of this alliance, stating, “Our collaboration with Vueron represents an important step in making advanced LiDAR technology more accessible and easier to deploy. This integration is set to transform the landscape of perception systems.
