Yakuza Series Streamer Support Project: 3rd Phase Participants Announced

SEGA has announced the participants for the third phase of its Yakuza Series Streamer Support Project, which aims to support streamers sharing gameplay of the iconic franchise. Starting June 19, 2026, the fourth phase of participant enrollment is also open, inviting more gamers to join the initiative.

This project, part of the special celebration for the 20th anniversary of the Yakuza series, seeks to collaborate with streamers who can share their gaming experiences and love for the brand. Participants who meet specific conditions will have the opportunity to earn a spot in an upcoming title developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.

3rd Phase Participants

In a thorough selection process, two standout content creators were chosen:

1. Koki Nadare: Specializing in Yakuza and Horror
Known for his unique blend of Yakuza gameplay and horror commentary, Koki provides an entertaining viewing experience where gamers can immerse themselves in the thrilling world of Yakuza while also being spooked by horror elements. His streams air nightly at 10 PM, combining laughter with just the right amount of fright.

2. F.T Sayaka: New Enthusiast of the Series
Sayaka, originally a diverse gamer and gadget reviewer, has recently discovered the Yakuza series. Captivated by the character Kazuma Kiryu, she is eager to share her journey from a newcomer to an enthusiast while showcasing the series' rich narratives and immersive gameplay.

About the Support Project

The Yakuza Series Streamer Support Project is designed to assist video content creators in sharing their unique perspectives on the Yakuza games through their YouTube channels. Participants are encouraged to produce videos that highlight the series' distinct charm and excitement.

Aim for the Gold Rank!

Each streamer in the project is assigned a 'Grade Rank', categorized as Bronze, Silver, or Gold. Continuous evaluations will be conducted throughout the project to assess their content and rank accordingly. The top three gamers who maintain a Gold rank by the project's completion will receive special access to cameo in a future title from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.

*Please note that participants cannot select their role or appearance specifics in the game.

How to Apply

Eligibility Requirements:

• - Streamers need to have at least 5,000 subscribers on YouTube.
• - During the application month, they must post or stream at least two videos related to Yakuza.
• - They must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Achieve a combined view count of over 3,000 across Yakuza-related videos or livestreams.
2. Average over 5,000 views on YouTube Shorts focused on Yakuza within the month.

Application Deadline: 5 PM, July 5, 2026.

Selection Notification: Results will be released on August 21, 2026.

Special Ambassadors

Joining the project as special ambassadors are kson and Dogma Kazami, both devoted fans of the Yakuza series. They aim to spread the love of this franchise further through their roles.
