COhatch Celebrates International Coworking Day
COhatch, a prominent coworking and lifestyle brand, is gearing up to celebrate International Coworking Day with a vibrant week-long event from August 10 to 14. This initiative aims to honor its extensive membership, which exceeds 6,000 members across various locations in the U.S.
The celebration not only marks the importance of coworking spaces but also emphasizes the sense of community that COhatch fosters among its members. Locations in cities such as Atlanta, Cincinnati, Charlotte, Cleveland, Columbus, and more, will host special activities throughout the week.
International Coworking Day, celebrated on August 9, originated to recognize the growth of the coworking movement, which has significantly impacted the professional landscape over the years. As more individuals, freelancers, and entrepreneurs embrace communal work environments, the demand for flexible workspaces has surged. This year, more than ever, COhatch is excited to spotlight the power of connection and collaboration in a coworking setting.
A Week of Connection and Celebration
During the week-long festivities, COhatch invites not only its members but also friends, family, and the local community to participate in various activities and events designed to strengthen connections. Members can enjoy complimentary coworking days on August 7 and any day throughout the week of August 10.
The week will also feature free coffee and networking opportunities daily, with specific events planned for Wednesday, August 12. For instance, Cleveland will be hosting an ice cream social, Pittsburgh will feature a specialty coffee station complete with toppings, and Cincinnati will provide a granola bar at its various locations.
In addition, two happy hour events are scheduled at member favorite, Lani Rooftop Lounge, on both August 7 and August 14 starting at 3 p.m. Local breweries like North High Brewing in Dublin will join in as well, with happy hour specials from 3 to 6 p.m. to further engage members and celebrate this significant week.
Innovation Meets Community Service
Beyond just serving as a workspace, COhatch is also dedicated to fostering entrepreneurial spirits within its communities. It runs several initiatives, including the Impact and Boost scholarship programs, which help support numerous nonprofits and startups. COhatch is currently collaborating with Star House and other local businesses and volunteers in a significant project aimed at renovating 62 apartments at Carol Stewart Village. This endeavor is designed to provide unhoused youth a safe, nurturing environment they can call home.
Each COhatch location is equipped with essential amenities, ranging from coworking areas and private offices to high-speed internet access. Members also enjoy a comfortable workplace that emphasizes a balanced lifestyle, focusing on well-being, productivity, and community impact.
