White Cap Celebrates the Grand Opening of Its First Enterprise Distribution Center

On September 26, 2025, White Cap, a premier distributor of specialty construction supplies and safety products, celebrated a significant milestone by inaugurating its first Enterprise Distribution Center (EDC) in Perris, California. This facility, encompassing 332,335 square feet, is poised to strengthen White Cap’s supply chain network nationwide, ensuring that professional contractors have timely access to essential materials for their projects.

A Day of Celebration

The grand opening event gathered key players from White Cap, including company leaders, staff, clients, and community leaders from Riverside County. The festivities included a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, speeches from local officials and company executives, a reception, and guided tours of the new facility. Notably, White Cap also showcased its commitment to community support by donating $10,000 to the CAL FIRE Benevolent Foundation, reflecting its dedication to local partnerships and the safety of firefighters across California.

CEO Alan Sollenberger highlighted that the new EDC investment is set to revolutionize service delivery, simplifying operations for both customers and associates. He emphasized, "By strategically placing a wider array of products closer to job sites and enhancing our delivery capabilities, we are increasing our reliability and speed for the professional contractors who depend on us."

Meeting Customer Needs

Tracy Rosser, Chief Supply Chain Officer, expressed pride in the new facility, which is designed to cater to customer needs specifically. He noted, "From inventory placement to quicker order fulfillment and efficient routing for last-mile delivery, our EDC is focused on ensuring customers receive what they need immediately when required."

Currently, the Perris EDC employs 42 associates, with plans for that number to rise to over 60 as operations develop. This center will serve as a critical hub in White Cap's national supply chain framework, enhancing access to indispensable products and solutions for contractors throughout the region.
