The collection includes safety equipment designed to prevent flames, shrapnel, and toxic gases from dispersing during emergencies, ensuring the highest levels of safety.

Fire Blanket: A First Line of Defense

The Fire Blanket is engineered to be placed over a lithium-ion battery during critical situations, such as thermal runaway or sudden fires. Capable of withstanding temperatures of approximately 1,000 degrees Celsius for up to 90 minutes, this blanket demonstrates exceptional reliability, validated by compliance with the BS476 Part 22 standard. Notably, it features a dual-layer design that enhances heat resistance, ensuring optimal safety even under severe conditions. The range includes various sizes to cater to different applications:

• - BAT310A: 299 cm x 4 m, double-layer structure (high heat resistance)
• - BAT311A: 6 m x 6 m, single-layer structure
• - BAT312A: 6 m x 8 m, single-layer structure
• - BAT313A: 9 m x 12 m, single-layer structure

Safety Case: Secure Storage and Transport

Designed for safeguarding small to medium-sized lithium-ion batteries, the Safety Case is constructed from high-strength aluminum capable of enduring impacts and vibrations. This case addresses fire risks during transport or storage, especially in unattended situations. With lightweight yet robust construction that adheres to UN standards and U.S. military specifications (MIL-STD-810), it meets the stringent demands placed on equipment used in challenging environments. It also features flame-retardant and antistatic lining materials that contain any potential fire, preventing outward heat dispersion. The available sizes cater to a variety of battery types:

• - BAT251A: 39 cm x 58 cm x 25 cm
• - BAT252A: 59 cm x 58 cm x 25 cm

Safety Beads and Pillows: Advanced Thermal Management

In addition to the Fire Blanket and Safety Case, AM Products introduces the Safety Beads and Safety Pillow. These innovative materials feature special glass beads that melt at high temperatures, enveloping the battery to limit the spread of heat and flames. The Safety Beads are used in packaging the battery, while the Safety Pillow contains the beads in a flame-retardant non-woven fabric, providing cushioning and preventing movement during transport. Their sizes are optimized for small to medium-sized lithium-ion batteries:

• - Safety Pillow - BAT110A: 25 cm x 25 cm x 5.1 cm, 20 pieces per box
