ASE BOUND, a multicultural group dedicated to bridging Japanese and global cultures, is revitalizing its mission. This unique unit, comprised of diverse members from various backgrounds, is eager to showcase the beauty of both Japan and the world. Originally affiliated with TWIN PLANET, ASE BOUND has reformed under OJI DIGITAL, operated by Vegan Prince Co., Ltd., and aims to bring a fresh perspective through cultural exchange and community involvement.

The core concept of ASE BOUND is embodied in the phrase “Sweat x Inbound,” signifying the group’s commitment to the cultural integration of Japan and other countries. With their rich diversity and deep appreciation for Japan's unique qualities, the members are dedicated to highlighting the positive aspects of both their home and adopted cultures. They will focus on promoting sustainable development goals (SDGs) through environmental conservation and social contributions.

Meet the Members

- Alex: Hailing from Los Angeles, Alex blends a rich tapestry of cultural influences. A fan of soba noodles and guacamole, with a knack for playing piano and reading, Alex expresses a profound respect for Japan's beautiful nature and its people's care for their environment. He believes that the essence of enjoying life stems from the balance between hard work and leisure, which he hopes to share through his activities with ASE BOUND.
- Merina: With a fascinating mix of French and Japanese heritage, Merina emphasizes the warmth of Japanese hospitality. She enjoys cheese and parfaits and loves photography and travelling. Her experience in Paris piqued her appreciation for the compassionate nature of Japanese culture. Motivated by a desire to blend cultures, Merina is excited to share her unique perspectives through ASE BOUND's initiatives.
- Lava: Originally from Yokosuka, Lava embraces the convenience of everyday life in Japan. A DJ and artist, he relishes in the seamless services that Japan offers. With a passion for curry udon and sushi, Lava aims to infuse Japan’s traditional practices with the open-mindedness prevalent in other cultures, crafting a new cultural narrative that resonates both locally and globally.

- Performances: The group has previously entertained at various venues such as Ebisu Garden Place and the Tokyo Future Festival.
