Debra Prinzing, the founder and creative director of Slow Flowers LLC, has unveiled the dates for this much-awaited event, which is set to take place from January 30-31, 2026. This year's summit will see the addition of a new strategic partner: the Black Flower Farmers, a group dedicated to promoting Black specialty cut flower growers from various parts of the globe.
A Collaborative Vision
The collaboration between Slow Flowers and Black Flower Farmers aims to elevate the discourse around floral design, sustainability, and flower farming. Debra Prinzing expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “We’re thrilled to welcome members of Black Flower Farmers and founder Dee Hall Goodwin. Their expertise will undoubtedly enrich the experience for all attendees engaged in the Slow Flowers Movement.”
Dee Hall Goodwin, founder of Black Flower Farmers, echoed this sentiment, highlighting that the synergy created by combining the strengths of both organizations will foster learning and inspiration. “There is so much more to be gained when our members share their knowledge and learn from one another,” expressed Goodwin. This approach promises to provide a wealth of information and perspectives that will enhance the overall summit experience.
