The 2025 SaaS Awards Shortlist Announced
The global cloud computing awards body, The Cloud Awards, has unveiled the shortlist for the much-anticipated
2025 SaaS Awards on June 24, 2025. This program serves as a prestigious recognition platform for software-as-a-service (SaaS) vendors, highlighting their latest advancements and achievements.
The SaaS Awards cover various dimensions of the SaaS realm, from accolades for technical excellence, such as exceptional applications of
artificial intelligence (AI), to recognizing innovative practices in business operations, including marketing, HR, and analytics. Furthermore, the awards spotlight ingenuity within ‘vertical SaaS’, covering sectors like retail, utilities, and manufacturing, alongside highlighting exceptional performance that boosts the efficiency and success of businesses of all sizes.
CEO of The Cloud Awards, James Williams, expressed his enthusiasm about this year's shortlist, marking the tenth edition of these awards, stating, “We are very excited to reveal the shortlist for the
2025 SaaS Awards. It has been a remarkable journey since the inaugural awards in 2016. Over the years, we have witnessed several trends emerge, adapt, and evolve.” He elaborates that the landscape of product-led, intelligent, AI-driven SaaS solutions has drastically transformed from the sales-led, horizontal focus of the last decade, necessitating a shift in how these vendors differentiate themselves in a crowded marketplace.
Williams further emphasizes that the advent of AI has raised the bar for SaaS vendors, making it essential for these companies to invest in customer success, loyalty, and retention to propel innovation within their offerings. “It’s a joy to see notable names from our 2016 awards returning in this year’s shortlist. These organizations exemplify the spirit of adaptability and steady innovation required for enduring success in this industry.”
The breadth of the shortlist is remarkable, with companies from all corners of the globe and of varying sizes—from established giants to emerging startups—coming together to showcase their innovations. The program aims to honor those entities that not only excel in technical aspects but also foster operational success through the integration of innovative SaaS solutions.
As the awards transition into the next judging phase, the SaaS Awards judges will begin determining which of the shortlisted organizations will advance to the finals. The finalists will be announced on July 22, with the winners revealed later in August.
Looking ahead, the program plans to invite new submissions for the 2026 cycle in order to continue honoring the latest advancements within the SaaS landscape. In tandem, the upcoming
A.I. Awards and
The Cloud Awards—celebrating innovations in artificial intelligence and cloud computing—are open for entries, with deadlines set for July and October respectively. Furthermore, early entries for the
2026 awards are also being accepted, including programs such as the
2026 FinTech Awards and the
2026 Security Awards.
