Empowering Young Women’s Health at the 5th Yamato Health & Beauty Fair 2025



On March 1, 2025, the Japan Optimized Nutritional Food Association, led by Chairman Hiroshi Ito, participated in the 5th Yamato Health and Beauty Fair held in Kanagawa Prefecture. This initiative aligns with Women’s Health Week in March and aims to address health issues faced by women aged 16 to 39. The goal is to stimulate dialogue around societal pressures concerning body image and the excessive desire to be thin.

During this event, the association provided approximately 400 meals of optimized nutritional food as participation prizes. To raise awareness about concealed nutritional deficiencies among women, an informative poster themed “Are You Dieting Out Important Nutrients?” was displayed, and brochures were distributed.

A variety of engaging programs took place, including a seminar on “Maintaining Your Condition with Exercise and Nutrition” led by sports nutrition experts. Additionally, the women's soccer team “Yamato Sylphid Co., Ltd.” hosted stretching exercises, while Nakakita Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. offered hand care experiences. Health assessments were conducted to encourage participants to understand their well-being better.
