Stream Enhances eBest Shopping with V Point Service

On September 10, 2025, Stream, based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, is set to launch a new V Point service on its home appliance e-commerce platform, eBest. This collaboration involves CCCMK Holdings and Mitsui Sumitomo Card, aiming to elevate the shopping experience for their customers.

What is eBest?

eBest is a leading online marketplace offering a wide selection of products, from home appliances to office equipment and health devices, all guided by the philosophy of providing "better products, better prices, and better service". The platform not only guarantees competitive pricing but also offers additional services like delivery and installation of large appliances, along with long-term warranties, ensuring a worry-free shopping experience for its customers.

New V Point Service Details

With the introduction of the V Point service, eBest aims to improve customer engagement and shopping satisfaction. This marks the first time that common point services, which accumulate points irrespective of the payment method used, will be implemented on the platform. Customers will now be able to track the number of points they can earn on their desired purchases and specify the amount of points to use at checkout.

During this new service rollout, when customers purchase products on eBest using the V Point service, they will earn 1 point for every 200 yen spent (excluding tax). Furthermore, those who choose to pay with a Mitsui Sumitomo Card will receive additional points as a part of their payment rewards.

Accumulated V Points can be redeemed on the eBest platform at a rate of 1 point equating to 1 yen, and they can also be utilized at approximately 160,000 partner locations across Japan and around 100 million Visa-affiliated merchants worldwide.
