Huawei Unveils New SME Intelligence Solutions for the Intelligent Era

In a recent event held in Shanghai, Huawei's Executive Director David Wang introduced the innovative HUAWEI eKit 4+10+N SME Intelligence Solutions designed to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in their journey towards digital transformation. The launch event, themed Together for Growth, All Intelligence, highlighted the significance of easily accessible intelligent solutions that can enhance growth and efficiency in the business landscape.

Huawei recognizes that AI applications have expanded significantly within various business domains. Recent trends have seen the emergence of intelligent assistants designed to assist employees. However, as Wang pointed out, a deeper integration of AI with core production systems is anticipated. This shift is expected to redefine product offerings, service delivery, and operational methodologies. Notably, SMEs are crucial players in the economy, particularly in China where over 58 million SMEs account for a substantial portion of urban employment and GDP.

Despite the growing prevalence of AI around the globe, many SMEs find it challenging to adopt these technologies due to a lack of awareness and technical knowledge. The barriers to AI implementation can be prohibitively high for many small enterprises. Addressing these challenges, Wang expressed that “Intelligence should be as accessible as water and electricity,” and promised that Huawei is committed to helping SMEs adopt intelligent solutions swiftly and efficiently, ensuring that no one is left behind in this intelligent landscape.

Many SMEs often rely on third-party intelligent solutions to bridge the technological gap they face. They seek solutions that are intuitive, quick to implement, and tailored to enhance their operational efficiency. Historically, SMEs have encountered complications when installers used convoluted by-product subcontracting techniques that were less efficient. In response, Huawei restructured its distribution model to circumvent these issues, moving away from standalone products in favor of comprehensive one-stop scenario-based solutions designed specifically for SME needs.

The newly launched HUAWEI eKit 4+10+N SME Intelligence Solutions embody this strategic pivot. The ‘4’ in the name refers to four primary operational scenarios: intelligent office, intelligent business, intelligent education, and intelligent healthcare. The ‘10’ denotes the ten tailored, scenario-specific solutions released during the event, including applications for SME offices, intelligent hotels, digital diagnosis platforms, and smart classrooms. The ‘N’ represents a variety of star products dedicated to these areas, notably the HUAWEI eKitEngine AR180 series routers which feature high-speed functionalities that unify routing, switching, Wi-Fi, and VPN capabilities.

Today's event saw the unveiling of 26 new products in the N series, including IdeaHub devices that merge AI-powered conferencing capabilities and acoustic management into an all-in-one system. These products emphasize secure interactions and advanced user interfaces.

Wang underscored the importance of making complexities manageable. “We handle the complex details to allow our customers and partners to concentrate on their growth,” he noted. The objective of Huawei's one-stop solutions is to facilitate an accelerated journey into the intelligent era for SMEs. In his concluding remarks, he invited partners and distributors to collaborate closely to leverage the resources necessary to empower SMEs effectively.

Each product released is infused with advanced AI technologies that have already been pre-integrated and validated with their respective solutions, allowing for flexible and swift deployment. Huawei is also enhancing its support for distribution partners by providing rapid access to resources, solution demonstrations, and structured configuration plans designed to simplify product selection and solution design, ultimately benefiting both installers and customers alike.

As SMEs continue to navigate the complexities of AI adoption, Huawei's suite of solutions aims to ensure a seamless transition. The commitment to refining sales processes, delivery services, and customer support will aid SMEs in rapidly adopting AI technology while providing peace of mind for installers. Wang reaffirmed, “These solutions will power the last mile of the intelligent world for SMEs.” Huawei’s proactive approach places them at the forefront of transforming SMEs into intelligent enterprises in this evolving digital world.
