On September 22, 2026, a group of 137 students and 16 educators from various local schools, including Elkhorn Area High School and Delavan-Darien High School, embarked on an educational exploration of the manufacturing industry. For many, this trip marked their inaugural visit to the IMTS, the largest manufacturing technology show in the world, offering an unparalleled opportunity to witness advanced manufacturing practices firsthand.

Barry Butters, Director of Education Outreach at Reader Precision, emphasized the importance of such experiences for students.
