Audemars Piguet Celebrates 150 Years with House of Wonders Exhibition in Ginza

Audemars Piguet's 150th Anniversary Exhibit: House of Wonders

As Audemars Piguet marks its 150-year milestone, the Swiss luxury watchmaker is set to launch a special exhibition titled "House of Wonders" in the heart of Tokyo's Ginza district. Running from November 10, 2025 to April 30, 2026, this exhibit promises an immersive experience for both avid watch enthusiasts and newcomers to the Audemars Piguet legacy.

Founded in 1875 in Le Brassus, Switzerland, Audemars Piguet has continuously merged tradition with innovation over a century and a half of watchmaking. The "House of Wonders" exhibition will serve as a portal to the brand's rich history, designed to provide guests an opportunity to explore Audemars Piguet's unique world of horology. Located on the well-known Namiki Street in Ginza, where flagship stores of luxury brands abound, the exhibition spans two floors, featuring thematic rooms that present a narrative journey through time and craftsmanship.

Entering through a replica of the original manufacture built by the founders in 1907, visitors will be transported into the exclusive realm of Audemars Piguet's watchmaking. One of the main attractions will be the "Gallery of Time," showcasing the rich historical depth of the brand over 150 years. Here, guests can delve into the origins of watchmaking in the Vallée de Joux through archival documents, providing insights into the circumstances surrounding the brand's establishment.

The exhibit will also feature rare archival pieces alongside the latest timepieces, each telling a story of evolution through eras, shapes, functions, colors, designs, and technologies, highlighting Audemars Piguet's journey throughout its history. Furthermore, a special segment will offer an avant-garde and creative virtual reality experience developed in collaboration with Geneva's Dreamscape, which invites attendees to immerse themselves in the brand's innovative spirit. There will also be a showcase of the intricate mechanisms of mechanical watches, making this exhibition accessible and enjoyable regardless of prior watch knowledge.

This celebration will focus on the craftsmanship, innovation, and the stories of the people behind Audemars Piguet, presenting a captivating space that engages all five senses as it bridges the past and present of the brand since its inception in 1875.

Reservations for the exhibition will open on October 24, 2025, through a special webpage on the Audemars Piguet website. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the allure of Audemars Piguet firsthand.
