EVE Energy to Present at Energy Storage Summit 2025 in London

EVE Energy's Role in the Future of Energy Storage

EVE Energy has been given a prominent platform at the Energy Storage Summit 2025, held in London from February 17 to 19, 2025. The company has been invited to present a keynote speech titled, "Can High-Capacity Batteries Simplify Management of Growing Power Plant Projects?" This presentation aims to showcase cutting-edge solutions geared towards the rapidly expanding energy storage sector in Europe.

The European Energy Storage Market: Growth and Challenges

Recent forecasts from renowned consulting agencies such as IHS and EASE indicate that energy storage demand in Europe is projected to reach 300 GW by 2030 and exceed 600 GW by 2050. This overwhelming demand necessitates the large-scale deployment of energy storage solutions. The industry has witnessed substantial advancements, particularly in 2024, with the launch of the first power plants boasting single-unit capacities exceeding 1 GWh.

However, obstacles such as economic viability, operational complexity, and safety concerns for energy storage power plants are becoming increasingly pronounced. These challenges are poised to create significant hurdles for advanced energy storage technologies and power plant system projects.

EVE Energy's Innovative Large-Capacity Battery Technology

In response to these challenges, EVE Energy has continuously pushed the boundaries of technology by introducing innovative large-capacity batteries and achieving mass production. The company is proud to present its ultra-high-capacity 628 Ah battery, branded as “Mr. Big.” This revolutionary battery simplifies energy storage systems by halving the data collection points required for plants of similar scale. Calculations suggest that this solution could reduce operational costs over the entire lifecycle of energy storage power plants by 30%, while also slashing maintenance times from 336 to 232 hours annually.

Working in tandem with “Mr. Big,” the “Mr. Giant” energy storage system, which has a capacity of 5 MWh, delivers impressive energy efficiency at 95.5%. This system offers significant value to customers by maximizing efficiency. Demonstration stations for this system were established in Jingmen, Hubei Province, where it provided insights on operational efficiency and profitability over a near six-month period.

“Mr. Big” stands out as one of the earliest energy storage cells to have exceeded 600 Ah and entered mass production. Thanks to the advanced production capabilities and ultra-high performance of EVE Energy's 60 GWh factory, the company is committed to supplying customers worldwide with top-notch products while maintaining minimal defect rates of one in a million and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Accelerating Global Transition to Renewable Energy

EVE Energy is committed to expanding its global footprint by enhancing its “global manufacturing, global collaboration, and global service” capabilities for swift responsiveness to customer needs. Facilities are currently being constructed in Hungary and Malaysia, with the Malaysian factory set to begin mass production in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Looking ahead, EVE Energy will continue to prioritize technological innovations as it executes its global strategy with reliable and high-performance solutions. Collaborating with global partners, EVE Energy aims to significantly contribute to accelerating the global energy transition and promoting sustainable development.
