The skateboarding scene is buzzing as athletes gear up for the new season following the excitement of the Paris Olympic year. The Street League 2025 is recognized as the pinnacle of professional skateboarding tours. Athletes compete in a series of competitions held in iconic locations around the world, showcasing their remarkable skills and creativity.

This year, Yuto Horigome, who achieved back-to-back Olympic golds in Tokyo and Paris, will make his season debut. He'll be joined by other elite competitors, including Sora Shirai, a two-time SLS champion. The women's competition will feature top talents like Koko Yoshizawa and Momiji Nishiya, both prominent figures in the international skateboarding scene. The legendary venue of Roland Garros, known for hosting the French Open, will serve as the backdrop for these high-stakes battles.

The Street League features a select group of top male and female skateboarders from around the globe, who earned their spots through invitation-only qualifications. Each competitor gets a chance to showcase their unique style through two 45-second lines and five single trick attempts, making it a thrilling spectacle for fans.

Only the top-ranked skaters will get a shot at competing in the annual championship known as the Super Crown, where previous Japanese champion Aori Nishimura has left her mark. The upcoming Super Crown will be held in December in Brazil, where renowned skaters like Nyjah Huston, the all-time leader in SLS victories, will aim for glory. This event promises intensity as competitors battle for prestige and substantial prize money.
