TEA&THINGS: A Local Tea Brand from Fukushima Set to Relaunch in April 2026

TEA&THINGS: A Unique Local Tea Brand from Fukushima

The tea brand TEA&THINGS, which hails from Fukushima Prefecture, will resume sales at the end of April 2026. This revival marks an exciting phase for the brand, which has garnered significant demand for its products, particularly from local customers who have long expressed a desire for a restock. The company, operated by Mirai Kuru Lab, has predominantly sold its offerings at local events and festivals in the region, but is now venturing into online sales to reach a broader audience.

The first items to be reintroduced are REFRESH PEACH and RELAX APPLE, both available in limited quantities. The traditional gift-style packaging, containing five 3g tea bags, will be supplemented by a more casual craft bag version with three bags, making it easier for everyday use. This strategy aims to appeal to a wider range of tea lovers.

Beyond relaunching its products, TEA&THINGS is committed to social responsibility by partnering with local welfare facilities to handle some packaging operations. This collaborative effort underscores the brand’s belief in creating a community-centric experience that enriches the connection between tea and local stories.

Product Highlights

REFRESH PEACH: This delightful herbal tea is made using luxurious locally sourced peaches. Designed as a treat for those long days, it promises a relaxing experience enveloped in exquisite peach aromas. The ingredients include peaches from Fukushima, lemon balm, and lavender.

RELAX APPLE: Crafted from the finest local apples, this herbal tea features two types of herbs that create a sweet, refreshing aroma, perfect for morning awakenings. The blend includes apples from Fukushima, chamomile, and lemon verbena.

Customers can expect these products to be available on their online store starting late April at TEA&THINGS Online Store.
